day one…

2:30 AM - We arrived at Children’s National by way of ambulance from Holy Cross Hospital

3:52 AM - Getting settled in our room, getting to know the doctors

12:46 PM - We noticed that her middle finger on her right hand looked purple. The IV was still in, but it was removed (not sure of the time)

4:42 PM - Now all of her fingers are purple, her hand is swollen

8:49 PM - they are trying to put a central line in so that she can receive medicine and they can draw blood more efficiently

11:38 - no luck with the central line :( we will try again tomorrow

11:50 PM - Her finger nails are turning black
