Our God is an awesome God He reigns from heaven above…

Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from heaven above
With wisdom, power, and love
Our God is an awesome God

Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from heaven above
With wisdom, power, and love
Our God is an awesome God

Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from heaven above
With wisdom, power, and love
Our God is an awesome God

Song of the Day:
“Awesome God” by Hillsong

My dear family!

Our beloved Buttercup aka Anthony/ Great Granddad gained his wings this morning around 5:30 am. It was a peaceful night and transition.

It hurt his heart to see Sevyn in so much pain and not to be with her physically.

It is my belief that he has a new assignment to make her laugh, give her strength and encouragement and walk with her and all of us through this life's journey. His physical body failed him but his spiritual one will live eternally. The heavens and angels are rejoicing and so must we. He told me when I got cancer before he knew any illness, "Live your life like you're not sick." He did that before our very eyes taking care of his great granddaughters weekly in the most loving way.

11/Sevyn, may he rest in heaven!!!

6:40 AM - Sevyn has been doing really well drinking from the bottle. She’s drinking about 30ml and seems like she could keep on going.

7:07 AM - Hey look at the time

7:15 AM - Fell asleep in Daddy’s arms like good ole days…

8:45 AM - OT said they would come to fit her for a splint for her left hand. (she has been curling her thumb into her palm and OT wants her to exercise her thumb.

9:00 AM - OT is here to make her splint and to do a little bit of PT.

9:55 AM - Hematology came by and said they thought she was good to go to switch to a different anti-coagulation and stop her Bivalridin

10:00 AM - OT returns with the tiny splint for her hand.

10:15 AM - Morning rounds

Factor 8 level testing went out to determine if she’s Bival resistant
Waiting to hear back from hematology about removing her from Bival and on Lovenox.

The clots she had were getting smaller… and two of them were  GONE. None have shown getting worse…
The clot in her neck is gone
No clot in the leg
Most of her Numbers were good.
Her left foot still looks swollen, more swollen than yesterday

Concerns - Weening methadone today (and keep an eye on foot from doctors)

LOOK AT ALL THE CARDS AND SHIRTS … THANK YOU EVERYONE… I FEEL SUPER LOVED….

11:45 AM - OT came to remove the splint that was made for her

11:50 AM - Homegirl drank another 33ml … she’s doing really good with drinking from a bottle

2:52 PM  - Doctors came in… spoke to hematology and they want to stop the Bival drip

Anthony is the resident doctor today… he came by to visit and chat about the switch up … She will now be on Lovenox and they will stop the bivalve drip.

3:50 PM - A Social Worker came by to discuss Hero and Phoenix's visitation. We hope they can let her sisters come see her. No more Bival YAY!!!

It’s been a quiet afternoon. Sevyn has been getting a few good naps in and also drinking a good amount with her feeds out of the bottle. They will have her drink from the bottle first then what she does not drink she will get through continuous feed via IV.

6:00 PM - Central line cap switch. This is a sterile process so MASK ON DAD…. This is done once every 4 days. Sevyn is being silly with the nurse who is trying to feed her.

6:57 PM - MOMMY IS BACK!!!! YAY!!!!
