Rain, rain on me…

Rain, rain on me
Open the windows of Heaven
Rain, rain on me
Open the windows of Heaven
Open up the heavens
Pouring out a blessing Lord, we need refreshing ‘Til it overflows
Open up the heavens Pouring out a blessing Lord, we need refreshing ‘Til it overflows

Song of the Day: “Rain” by Noel Robinson

First off… PRAISE GOD!… We are home!!!
I woke up this morning laying next to all my girls! Thank you God… I am truly blessed.

Today, we celebrated the homegoing of our beloved Buttercup!
It’s no coincidence that TODAY (and only day this week) RAIN covered the DMV in the midst of a drought. It is believed that RAIN at a funeral meant the deceased was being accepted into heaven. The Priest mentioned at the burial that we must continue to pray for the deceased to ensure they are accepted into the gates of heaven.
WE LOVE YOU BUTTERCUP… REST IN PARADISE AND WATCH OVER YOUR CHILDREN/GRAND/AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN… YOU WILL BE MISSED!

Sevyn had a great first day home. She did a wonderful job drinking from the bottle and met her goal. The home care nurse came by to talk to us and ensure we had everything we needed to care for Sevyn while home. We took a look at her hand and appears to be looking better and better each day. We still have a tall mountain to climb but she’s proved to us already that NO MOUNTAIN is too tall for her. Thank you again for all your prayers and wishes. Words cannot express how grateful we are for everyone taking the time to follow her journey and prayers.

Right now she’s sleeping peacefully in her crib. Hope you all had a wonderful day.
Goodnight and God bless!

Goodnight world!
