Recently we received some disappointing and unexpected news. We thought for sure the outcome that we were hoping for was going to happen without a shadow of a doubt… however, that didn’t happen. And although our outcome hasn’t come into fruition yet, it hasn’t shaken our faith, nor our fight. We are still fighting for our baby 100% until we get the results we know that she deserves.

May 24-29 - Sevyn found herself back in the hospital because of another UTI/Kidney infection. This time, during Mommy’s birthday weekend!

School is out, so peace out! We took a much needed vacation to Florida:
June 20 - Occupational Therapy visit
July Recap
It’s my birthday month!! I turned a year old on July 9th and we celebrated with a “One-der Woman” themed party with our closest friends and family. It was a packed house, literally. But we all felt the LOVE! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our little wonder girl!
July 18 - spent the night in the Emergency Room due to a UTI. They sent us home in the morning saying that she is on the highest medication. Sevyn is getting old enough to know what’s going on now and she screams if a nurse or doctor even looks at her.
August Recap
On August 5th, we had a follow-up visit with her Ortho surgeon. He took an x-ray and it looks as though her index finger has slightly moved to the left! For now, we are going to let her continue to grow. No surgery is planned.

August 27 - School is starting and Sevyn gets another UTI, keeping mom up all night!
