We are enjoying our time in Florida! It was a much needed vacation.

December 31 - The top part of Sevyn’s pinky auto-amputated. She was not feeling well today. She threw up a few times.

It’s amazing how much can change in a week - her hand looks so much better. Since Sevyn no longer has an open wound, I have been keeping her hand unwrapped. Oh the stares she gets! I know people are pretty confused and curious about what happened.

As of today (Jan 2), her ring finger is still attached but we can see the bone.

She still has very little range of motion in her hand and fingers. Her hand is still sensitive to touch and she experiences pain if it is brushed or banged. However, she is trying to use them. She’ll look at her hand and touch my face with her hand.

God is still good!
